Congratulations to the Miami Heat, 2006 NBA Champions! 🏀🔥

Honestly, with both teams being among my favorites (along with Phoenix), I couldn’t lose either way. But I did lean Miami’s way. I wanted to see veterans like Payton, Mourning, Williams, Walker, and Anderson finally get their rings. They deserved it, and truthfully, they should have had it last year.

And then there’s Shaq and Dwyane Wade. I’ve always been a huge fan, and these Finals just cemented it. D-Wade was unbelievable, unstoppable, fearless, and absolutely deserving of that Finals MVP trophy. He’s a certified superstar. Shaq and Coach Riley’s influence shone through, and Miami’s “15 strong” motto couldn’t have been more fitting. Wooooooot!

Props as well to Dirk Nowitzki and the Mavericks. They fought hard and made it a thrilling series. Coach Avery Johnson did a fantastic job. Mark Cuban? Always entertaining. Keep your heads high, Mavs, you’ll be back.
