Personal Stories from Tales of a Tech Shark
When the laptops close and the dashboards go quiet, life doesn’t stop; it just changes screens.
This corner of PJ Bacolod – Tales of a Tech Shark isn’t about cybersecurity, operations, or frameworks. It’s about everything that happens when the VPN disconnects and the silence starts talking back.
Here, I write about the small, real moments that remind me I’m human first, IT practitioner second. Some days, that means stories about my dog, Furby—the one teammate who never needs a reboot. Other days, it’s about being a dad, dealing with solitude, or finding humor in life’s slow Wi-Fi moments.
These stories don’t try to impress. They try to connect with anyone who’s ever felt tired, hopeful, lonely, or simply alive in the middle of a global mess.
Observations
I’ve always believed that the world leaves small clues about how to live better—you just need to be paying attention. From the odd behavior of jeepneys at night to the quiet discipline of a dog waiting by the door, these stories turn the ordinary into reminders that meaning is everywhere if you look closely enough.
Reflections
Sometimes I write to make sense of what already happened. Other times, I write to prepare for what’s next. These reflections are my way of slowing down time—to see what stayed, what changed, and what it means to keep showing up when the world keeps spinning.
Humor
Not everything needs to be deep. Some days, life’s absurdities deserve a laugh instead of a lesson. Traffic, slow internet, strange meetings, narrow parking driveways—humor keeps things human. It reminds me that resilience isn’t just surviving; it’s learning to laugh while doing it.
Resilience
Behind the laughter and quiet moments is a thread of persistence. The kind that grows in stillness, in fear, or even in boredom. These stories aren’t about grand triumphs—they’re about staying steady through uncertainty and finding small ways to rebuild when the system crashes.
Why It Exists
Because being “always on” doesn’t mean always working.
Sometimes, the best reboot comes from stories that slow you down. These are the ones I write when the coffee’s gone cold, the world feels heavy, and the only fix is perspective.
So take a scroll. Breathe a bit. Maybe laugh.
The firewalls will still be there tomorrow.
